Parkside Elementary Kindergarten Registration

If your child was born between September 1st 2003 – August 31st 2004 and you live in our school boundaries, please come to our registration Thursday February 27, 2009 at 3:00pm at the Parkside Elementary Cafeteria. Bring the following to the registration:

1. Birth Certificate
2. Immunization
3. Proof of Address
4. Parent/Guardian Photo ID
5. Your Kindergarten Child

Annual Drinking Water Report For Syracuse

Dear Syracuse City Residents,

The City currently has an opening on the Planning Commission and would like to invite all those that would be interested in serving on this Commission to apply. The City is specifically looking for an enthusiastic individual that is interested making a positive contribution now and to help plan for future generations of Syracuse citizens.

All interested persons should submit a letter in writing or by email addressed to G.J. LaBonty, Director of Community Development. In your letter please briefly outline why you would be interested in serving on the commission and any experience or qualifications that you feel would help you in your role on the committee. Also, include your name, mailing address, email and a phone number where you can be reached during the day. This position is voluntary public service.

The Planning Commission meets in the City Council Chambers on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month at 6:00PM. There is a working session before each meeting that begins at 5:30 PM.

Arby’s Opens in Syracuse

Syracuse City welcomes their newest business to the Town Center…Arby’s, located at 1766 South 2000 West, opened in January 2009. Clinton City Youth Soccer Signups

Registrations for the Clinton City youth soccer program will be February 2nd through February 20th. The soccer program is for children Pre-school age (year before they enter kindergarten) through 6th grade. The fee is $40 and includes; jersey, shorts, socks, practices and games. Practices are tentatively set to begin the week of March 9th and games the week of March 23rd. For additional information and game days contact the Recreation Department at 614-0780.
